Construction of coil former using 40mm PVC pipe and timber beads spaced equally around the tube and chamfered at 45° on ends to make a more pleasing finish. |

Coil former sprayed black and Aluminium Welding wire wound around at approx 2mm spacing between each coil. Aluminium welding wire approx. 1mm Dia. Wire connected to each aluminium 32mm Dia tubing with long 5mm bolt and nut. Aluminium tube fixed to PVC former with large pop rivets. The area of coil on the former isolates the two aluminium tubes. A tap is connected to the lower bolt and provides the ability to adjust the coil loading. |
